There was a time, not long ago, when building a brand meant doing almost everything by hand. We wrote every page ourselves, designed every visual in-house, ran every campaign manually, and reached out to media one publication at a time. Search engines were the finish line, if you ranked well on Google, customers found you. That was the whole game.
That game has changed faster than most businesses expected.
AI is no longer a separate chatbot people open occasionally out of curiosity. It has become a layer inside the tools people already use every day, search engines, messaging apps, office software, creative tools, customer service systems. People now use AI to research a company, compare vendors, summarize information, and make decisions, often without ever opening a traditional search results page.
That shift changes a question every business has to answer. It's no longer only "Where do we rank on Google?" It's also "What can AI systems understand about us, and is there enough evidence online to support that understanding?"
That's the question we built our next chapter around.
From Invention Digital Marketing to Invention Digital Media
For years, we operated as Invention Digital Marketing, a team focused on websites, SEO, social media, and paid advertising. That work hasn't gone anywhere. It's still the foundation of everything we do.
But as AI started reshaping how people discover and evaluate businesses, we realized digital marketing alone wasn't the full picture anymore. Getting found on Google is one thing. Being understood correctly, by a person and by an AI assistant summarizing you to that person, is another.
So, we expanded. Today, we operate across three connected areas:

That's why we're no longer just Invention Digital Marketing. We're Invention Digital Media.
What "Digital Media" actually means in practice
We're not promising that your brand will appear in a specific ChatGPT, Gemini, or Perplexity answer no agency honestly can, since those responses are dynamic and controlled by the platforms themselves.

What we do focus on is the underlying information environment: making your company easier to identify online, improving how your website structures information, building pages that answer real customer questions clearly, and creating the kind of credible, independent references through PR and consistent public presence that both search engines and AI systems draw on.

As our founder, Jeetendra Khatri, put it when we shared this shift publicly: "Everyone can see that AI is changing how things get created. What businesses are only beginning to understand is that AI is also changing how companies get discovered, compared and understood. That second change may eventually matter even more for brands."
Why this matters for you
If you're a founder or marketing lead reading this, here's the honest version: your website explains who you are. Search makes that information discoverable. Public relations create independent evidence around your brand. And AI visibility makes sure machines can correctly connect all three.
Plenty of agencies offer digital marketing. Plenty offer PR. What we've built is the point where those meet and where AI visibility ties them together.
The technology will keep changing. What won't change is this: your brand still needs to be understood, trusted, and discoverable at the exact moment someone human or AI is deciding what to do next.
That's the work we do now, under a new name that finally fits it.
